Youth Dressage Festival “Thank You”

Leslie Peik of Saxony Farm, Hollis, NH was extremely proud of daughters Kristen and Katie at the recent Lendon Gray Youth Dressage Festival.

Leslie credits Orintha Silva for her training skills, “I just wanted to thank you personally for all of your help getting Kristen and Katie prepared for the festival. They did such a great job and it was in large part to your help and encouragement.”

Leslie’s excitement continues with her recap:

Kristen rode a beautiful, accurate test; Windi and Katie were in a word "amazing". Katie got a 95% and 2nd in her equitation class (out of 21)and an 8 for her position in her test with a comment of "beautifully ridden" from Scott Hassler with a final score of 64+%.

Windi exceeded every expectation. His canter departs were spot on. After his first test he never looked at anything. Just like his daddy, when he's in the "zone" he can do anything - he was doing beautiful leg yields and shoulder in the warm-up and went in the class and knocked them dead.

They were sixth in the team competition and Katie was 4th in her division with a combined score of 80.88%. Her written score was an 83%; her training level test was a 64.64% and her equitation score was a 95%.
