Versatility Series at Ten Broeck Farm

The Pepperell Horse Owner’s Association invites you to attend a series of Saturday versatility events for 2012:

Come test your skills with your horse in a competitive versatility challenge.
Try obstacles such as bridges, barrels, gates, bells ringing, tarps and more!
Compete at your choice of level. Beginners welcome!

Starting with a beginner course on April 21, the courses will introduce tougher obstacles each month. This is a timed event where horse and rider make their way through a ten obstacle course.

There will be two divisions – beginner horse/rider and experienced horse/rider. Lead your horse or take it slow to experience the course, then if you’re ready - ride it again it to beat the clock!

Beginners, auditors and spectators are encouraged and welcome!!!

DETAILS:

This indoor event will start promptly at noon.
Limited to 30 riders, so register EARLY, as the slots fill up quickly.
Ribbons will be presented.

COST:
The cost is $25 for the first run and $10 for each additional run.

DISCOUNT:
PHOA members and 4H members receive a $5 discount off the first run at each event.

We need help with advertising, obtaining round pens, registration, set-up. Kathy will create a checklist for the volunteer team. She will organize the first event and have a volunteer with her; said volunteer will then be in charge of the second one, with a helper to learn the ropes so they can run the third, etc.
